Christine Hamilton

Christine Hamilton is co-owner and managing partner of Christiansen Land and Cattle, Ltd., Kimball, South Dakota.  Christiansen Land and Cattle is a fourth-generation farm and ranch business with more than 25,000 acres of farmland and ranchland in central South Dakota.  The company is consistently at the forefront of innovation, embracing new technologies, and participating in research and development opportunities.  Christine is also a co-owner of a wholesale packing company in Nevada that distributes to restaurants throughout southern Nevada.

Ms. Hamilton serves on the board of Titan Machinery, based in Fargo, North Dakota, and she is also an investor and serves as a board member for SAB Biotherapeutics, a biotech company that develops polyclonal antibodies to treat human diseases. 

She is the co-founder and chair of the Matson Halverson Christiansen Hamilton Foundation whose mission is to improve quality of life and create opportunities for growth and development in rural areas.  She also is a Farm Foundation Fellow and serves on the Executive Committee.  She has served on the Federal Reserve Bank Board in Minneapolis, MN, and the SD Game Fish and Parks Commission.

Christine Hamilton earned a BA in Philosophy from Smith College, in Northampton, Massachusetts, in 1978 and her MBA from the University of Arizona, Tucson.
